Associate Project Manager - Public Sector

Role / Job Description

Deliver projects successfully within scope budget and schedule while mitigating and managing stakeholder expectations. Lead project teams to achieve project objectives with excellence.  

• Project Planning: Develop project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
• Scope Definition: Define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Detailed Work Planning: Create a detailed work plan as well as the critical path, which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
• Resource Allocation: Determine the resources required to complete the project in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Scheduling: Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities (SoW).
• Resource Coordination: Coordinate with resource managers to ensure the availability of required skills and expertise.
• Stakeholder Identification and Communication: Identify all necessary stakeholders and establish communication channels. Follow the project monitoring methodology of RC (tools, KPIs, communication path & escalation process).
• Stakeholder Management: Identify project stakeholders and their interests and expectations. Effectively manage communication with the customer’s governing bodies to verify positive collaboration and active participation towards the project’s objectives. Manage expectations and ensure alignment between stakeholders, project team, and other relevant parties.
• Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks and opportunities. Develop and implement risk response plans to mitigate or exploit identified risks. Monitor and review risk status throughout the project cycle.
• Documentation and Compliance: Gather and maintain all necessary documentation related to the project, as well as ISO acceptance protocols for each project phase.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide project progress reports against milestones and deliverables for internal & external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: BSc and/or MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Technical Project Experience: Proven experience in managing technology projects up to completion will be an asset.
• Certifications: PMP Certification will be an asset.
• Software Proficiency: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
• Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of verbal and written Greek and English languages.
• Collaboration Skills: Advanced collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Advanced organizational and time-management skills.
