Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team at a publicly listed company in Greece. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 – 10 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within a listed or multinational company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible (Head) for the Internal Audit Function of the Company.
• Conduct risk-based internal audits and assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control processes.
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to the BoD /Audit Committee and Senior Management.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure best practices in Corporate Governance and Internal Control.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Risk Management or a related field.
• At least 5- 10 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a publicly listed company or a regulated financial institution.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Registered in the Economic Chamber of Greece / Internal Auditors Registry. 
• Completion of at least one of the following professional certifications:
  • CIA / IIA
  • IESOEL
  • ACCA
  • ACA / ICAEW
  • CISA / ISACA
  •  CFE / ACFE
• Excellent use of MSOffice. Knowledge on Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) will be further appreciated.
• Fluency in English and Greek (written & spoken).
