Role / Job Description

An SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for the technical administration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems to ensure they are secure, reliable, and high performing. The role includes installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of SAP environments, databases, and related infrastructure.

   

Qualifications

Junior SAP Basis Consultant

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years SAP Basis experience (HANA, Oracle, SAP BTP/RISE preferred).
  • Basic hands-on knowledge of SAP HANA, Oracle DB, SAP NetWeaver.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, Fiori, or cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Exposure to system monitoring, administration, or support tasks.
  • Comfortable with Linux, Windows, and basic cloud environments.
  • Good collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications are a plus.

 

Senior SAP Basis Consultant

  • Bachelor’s and/or MSc in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years SAP Basis experience (HANA, Oracle, SAP BTP/RISE).
  • Hands-on with SAP HANA, Oracle DB, SAP NetWeaver.
  • Expertise in SAP BTP (Integration, Security, Extensions, Fiori, API Management).
  • Knowledge of SAP Landscape Management, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM.
  • Experience with system/OS/DB migrations (SUM, DMO, SWPM).
  • Familiar with Linux, Windows, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate – HANA; SAP Certified in SAP BTP & RISE.
