Senior Project Manager

Role / Job Description

Deliver projects successfully within scope, budget, and schedule, aligned with the level of responsibility of a Senior Project Manager. This senior role includes strategic ownership of complex, high-impact, and multi-stakeholder projects. Lead and collaborate with project teams to achieve project objectives with excellence.

• Develop project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, resources. 
• Define the project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. 
• Create a detailed work plan as well as the critical path, which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. 
• Determine the resources required to complete the project in collaboration with stakeholders. 
• Develop a project schedule that effectively allocates resources to activities, in alignment with the approved Statement of Work (SoW).
• Coordinate with resource managers to ensure the availability of required skills and expertise.  
• Identify all necessary stakeholders and establish communication channels. Follow the project monitoring methodology of RC (tools, KPIs, communication path & escalation process).
• Identify project stakeholders and their interests and expectations. Effectively manage communication with the customer’s governing bodies to verify positive collaboration and active participation towards the project’s objectives.
• Manage expectations and ensure alignment between stakeholders, project team, and other relevant parties.  
• Identify, assess and prioritize project risks and opportunities. Develop and implement risk response plans to mitigate or exploit identifies risks.
• Monitor and review risk status throughout the project cycle.  
• Gather and maintain all necessary documentation related to the project, as well as ISO acceptance protocols for each project phase. 
• Provide project progress reports  against milestones and deliverables for internal & external stakeholders.  

Qualifications

• BSc and MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field
• 7+ years of experience in relevant position
• Proven experience in managing complex technology projects up to completion
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project
• Excellent knowledge of verbal and written Greek and English languages
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• PMP, PRINCE2, or a similar certification will be considered as a plus.
• Experience in SAP projects will be considered as a plus.
