Senior Project Manager

Role / Job Description

Deliver projects successfully within scope budget and schedule while mitigating and managing stakeholder expectations. Lead project teams to achieve project objectives with excellence.  

• Develop project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, resources. 
• Define the project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. 
• Create a detailed work plan as well as the critical path, which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. 
• Determine the resources required to complete the project in collaboration with stakeholders. 
• Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities (SoW).  
• Coordinate with resource managers to ensure the availability of required skills and expertise.  
• Identify all necessary stakeholders and establish communication channels. Follow the project monitoring methodology of RC (tools, KPIs, communication path & escalation process).
• Identify project stakeholders and their interests and expectations. Effectively manage communication with the customer’s governing bodies to verify positive collaboration and active participation towards the project’s objectives. Manage expectations and ensure alignment between stakeholders, project team, and other relevant parties.  
• Identify, assess and prioritize project risks and opportunities. Develop and implement risk response plans to mitigate or exploit identifies risks. Monitor and review risk status throughout the project cycle.  
• Gather and maintain all necessary documentation related to the project, as well as ISO acceptance protocols for each project phase. 
• Provide project progress reports  against milestones and deliverables for internal & external stakeholders.  

Qualifications

• BSc and MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field 
• At least 5 years of experience in relevant position 
• Proven experience in managing technology projects up to completion 
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Equivalent Certification Preferred
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project 
• Excellent knowledge of verbal and written Greek and English languages 
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities 
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
